“Patas Arriba”

 I created this painting as a commentary on Trump’s empty-hearted, uncivil and ineffective response to Puerto Rico’s situation after Hurricane María. He visited the island “to help” and instead, ended up making fun of us all by throwing paper towels and worsening the extent of our crisis by spreading fake news. Overall, this painting’s objective is to represent the ceaseless distress that Trump provokes in the Latin community.
